Resumen
Para obtener un equilibrio entre el bienestar y la seguridad del paciente, se necesita de una cuidadosa graduación de los sedantes y analgésicos, particularmente en tratamientos y procedimientos diagnósticos endoscópicos ambulatorios. La dexmedetomidina ha demostrado significativa eficacia para la sedación de pacientes posquirúrgicos.
