Resumen

Resistir la vejez es nuestra obligación, para compensar sus defectos. Luchar contra ella como luchamos contra las enfermedades. Mucha mayor atención se le debe a la mente y al alma porque ellas, como las lámparas, disminuyen su luz con el tiempo a menos que las sigamos alimentando con aceite. La actividad intelectual alimenta y eleva la mente. El viejo retiene sus facultades mentales si su interés y dedicación continúan.
