Resumen
La condromalacia patelar es el reblandecimiento anormal del cartílago por detrás de la patela, es la causa más común de dolor crónico de la rodilla y resulta de la degeneración cartilaginosa debido al mal alineamiento de la patela cuando se desliza lateralmente sobre el extremo inferior del fémur. El síntoma más común es una vaga inco- modidad en el área interna de la rodilla.
