Resumen

El entrenamiento de los estudiantes de medi- cina debe incluir las habilidades necesarias para usar los avan- ces de la investigación científica en medicina. La estrategia de Medicina Basada en Evidencias (MBE) ha sido propuesta como un método de practicar la medicina utilizando los resultados de la investigación biomédica, con el objetivo de proveer atención de salud de calidad. La MBE se ha incorporado en los progra- mas de pregrado en medicina de varios países, proceso que ha sido poco estudiado en las escuelas de medicina de países en vías de desarrollo.
